01-30 Warriors-Hornets
Baron Davis heard boos every time he touched the ball, right up until he sent the crowd to the exits with a game-sealing 3-pointer.
Stephen Jackson scored 26 points, Davis added 23, and the Golden State Warriors beat New Orleans 116-103 Wednesday night to snap the Hornets' nine-game winning streak.
"Nobody likes to get booed," Davis said. "It wasn't really motivation. It was kind of distracting, but at the same time you've just got deal with it. I expected it, so I just dealt with it."

0128 Nuggets-Hornets
Chris Paul emerged from a scrum under the basket, nimbly dribbling out to the perimeter to reset another Hornets possession.
A jubilant crowd rose to its feet, chanting, "M-V-P, M-V-P!"
Perhaps local fans are figuring out they don't need visits from players like Allen Iverson to bring them out to the games. They have a star of their own, not to mention one of the best teams in the NBA right now.
Paul had 23 points, 17 assists and nine rebounds, and the New Orleans Hornets ran away with their ninth straight win, 117-93 over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.
Down the stretch, the crowd repeatedly chanted superlatives in recognition of a masterful performance by the Hornets' third-year guard, who is New Orleans' best hope for a representative in the All-Star Game when coaches elect the reserves this week.
Other candidates include center Tyson Chandler and forward David West, as Paul was quick to mention when asked what he thought of the MVP chants.
"I was thinking they're exactly right," Paul said. "D-West and Tyson might be MVPs."
Even in a game featuring Iverson, recently elected an All-Star starter, Paul was the best player on the floor. Iverson also scored 23, but had only three assists and got little help other than from Kenyon Martin, who scored 18.

Dwyane Wade scored 35 points, Mark Blount added 10 of his 19 in the pivotal fourth quarter, and the Heat beat the Indiana Pacers
98-96 on Saturday to snap a 15-game skid -- the longest in the NBA this season and the second-longest in franchise history.
"You don't like to be part of that every day," Riley said. "So they're just happy this thing is over with."

Quai 54 Raw Footage
Here is some unedited action I taped at the Quai 54 last summer. It's just 30 minutes of average plays I put randomly together as I was too lazy to make a mix out of my 3 hour or more rushes. The thumbnails above show the original video, the one you can download has been reduced in size and quality. In the first game the team in red is the british team, all other teams are french I think. I can upload more if some of you request it.

BEFORE THE BIGS: RONNY TURIAF
“Before the Bigs: Ronny Turiaf” tells the story of a driven and carefree boy responsible for a family of four, who discovers his physical abilities can afford him the opportunity to generously support them for life, only to find that his life, literally, hangs in the balance. “Before the Bigs” opens with a fourteen-year-old Ronny Turiaf making the decision to leave his family and friends on the Caribbean isle of Martinique and set sail for Paris. Playing basketball in France presented another opportunity: he was recruited by Gonzaga University. Turiaf relocated to the Pacific Northwest, far from the French café culture and the tropical breezes of childhood home and, there, developed some of the most prolific relationships of his life. His performance at Gonzaga led him to the NBA draft and the Los Angeles Lakers.
What should have been a celebration quickly turned into a grave situation: Turiaf’s team physical revealed an abnormality that required immediate medical attention. With his Gonzaga teammates and friends by his side, open heart surgery was performed. His new Lakers family showed their support by paying for the surgery and honoring his NBA contract. “Before the Bigs: Ronny Turiaf” is story of a player who is the heart and soul of the Lakers organization, and it is told by his friends from Gonzaga. Bulldogs Head Coach Few and Assistant Coach Lloyd are among those interviewed.

01/21 Nuggets-Lakers
A year ago at this time, the Los Angeles Lakers were flying high after a 100-96 victory over the Spurs at San Antonio, raising their record to 26-13.
That's when a series of injuries and other misfortunes contributed to a slide in which the Lakers lost 27 of their last 43 regular-season games before being eliminated 4-1 by Phoenix in the first round of the playoffs.
While the timing of significant injuries to Andrew Bynum and Trevor Ariza in a week's time and a difficult upcoming schedule might be a cause for deja vu, the Lakers are determined to avoid a similar collapse this season.
That being the case, they considered a decisive victory over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night would be a most important win.
"Absolutely. You have Andrew go down, you have Trevor go down, you get that vibe that, 'Here we go again,'" said Kobe Bryant, who had 17 points and a season-high 11 assists.
"We really need this win to get some momentum back going on the road," said Derek Fisher, who shot 10-for-16 including 6-for-7 from 3-point range in scoring a season-high 28 points -- one off his career high.

01/14 Lakers-Sonics
First I have to tell you that this is the last game I will upload this week.
Now, this game is the untouched release of Jason Feng (like most game in asf or avi format here) and there are all the commercial breaks during timeouts, also there seems to be a problem with audio. It's out of sync and you hear the action like 1 sec before you can see it, so it's not really pleasant to watch. What is pleasant to watch is Kobe's season high 48 point performance :)
Finally, I don't know why but part 3 of the game is only 5 minute long and I had problem watching it, but maybe that's just my computer.
Since this is my last game this week I decided to put it in direct download (700MB). Enjoy.

01/10 Detroit Pistons-San Antonio Spurs
The Detroit Pistons were facing a game that, if lost, would have given them their longest losing streak of the season.
Rasheed Wallace wasn't going to let it get him down:
"We could lose five or six games in a row, but we're the type of team, we don't hang our heads and walk around moping," said Wallace, who had 23 points and 15 rebounds Thursday night.

Shawn Marion scored a season-high 27 points, had six blocked shots, and hit five of Phoenix's 20 3-pointers to lead the Suns to a 137-115 romp over the Denver Nuggets in a division leaders' matchup that quickly became a mismatch.
The Suns hit 20 3-pointers, matching a franchise record and were one shy of the NBA record set by Toronto on March 13, 2005.

At last here is the first game of the Blazers this season on BBallvideos.
Too bad the commentary is in russian but to make up for that the quality is great (check the sample pic below). This game was ripped by vas100.
I've split the game into 6 parts of 200MB or so each, regardless of the quarters. You can watch any part separatetly.
To give you an idea, part 4 starts at 8'30 in the 3rd and the 5th starts at 11'12 in the 4th, part 6 is just the last 1'25. These 3 parts are in direct download! The first 3 are hosted on divshare.
I haven't watched the game yet but I've heard the 3rd quarter was the best one of the game with Martell Webster hitting 24 of his career-high 26 points so I'll probably watch part 3 and 4 ;)

Two different Boston centers fouled out trying to guard Yao Ming before the biggest Celtics big man of all took on the job himself.
For Kevin Garnett, it was just another way to be indispensable down the stretch."It was superstar on superstar," Celtics forward James Posey said. "He accepts those challenges, and we jumped on his back and he carried us to a win."
Garnett scored 11 of his 26 points in the last 7 minutes, grabbing a steal with 2 minutes left and blocking a shot with just seconds remaining on Wednesday night to help the Boston Celtics beat the Houston Rockets 97-93 and earn their seventh consecutive victory.
